I heard about Singing Owl and her sister, and I decided to do my first Friday Five. As a dog, I have my own pretty good ideas about what is heavenly!

Mom showed me this picture the other day. I met this nice dog once, when she was a puppy. She has a friend, as you can see. I’m not jealous of her (dogs aren’t jealous, as Rowan so clearly knows), but sometimes I wish I had a friend like this, that I could cuddle with.
It’s cold here. I like the cold, and especially like rolling around in the snow. Mom and dad don’t like the cold so much. So, we don’t do as many fun things together in the winter. Also, Mom has to work more in the winter. That’s when it would be good to have a friend.
In the summer we go on vacation together, and I catch the ball in the yard, and we eat outside by the lake sometimes!
In the meantime, I try to be the best friend I can to mom and dad. I know that’s my job, and that’s part of what God created me to do.
Also, does anyone here know: why do most churches not let dogs come to church? I think we could teach a lot.
Rusty is one of my new friends from my blog. He is little and likes to chase squirrels. I hope he catches one. I caught a rabbit once, and it is an experience I will never forget!
Rusty gave me this great award. I feel so special! Thank you, Rusty! And now I want to give this award to Isabel, Cub and of course ROWAN, who is my Valentine.
I had a good day today, from morning to night. First, I got a ride in the car! I was very good (Mom said so) and sat very still, so she took me to the Big Indoor Park Where Many Dogs Play! I was so tired when I came home!
But that wasn’t all! After I took my nap, and watched Mom and Dad clean the house (I don’t know why; it looks fine to me), a Big Van drove into the driveway and Three Big People and Two Little People got out! I loved the little people and their toys! One of them had a train set, which I sniffed to make sure it was safe. I also licked the tops of their heads. They tasted good.
Then, a PIZZA came! Well, actually, three pizzas! I counted. They looked so delicious, and of course, there is always the hope that someone will drop a piece!
And then, the Boys came too! And one of the Boys Did drop a piece of pizza! What a night!
They tell me it’s Lent — but it’s not Lent for Dogs! that’s for sure!
